change is what it is.

“Things don’t go wrong and break your heart so you can become bitter and give up. They happen to break you down and build you up so you can be all that you were intended to be.”

—Charles “Tremendous” Jones

have you ever had that feeling where the world you have come to know and love is falling apart and there is nothing you can do to stop it or slow it down? and where you just have to scream at the top of your lungs, “ENOUGH IS FREAKIN ENOUGH!! IT’S TOO MUCH!!!” well that’s change baby. it smacks you right on the head when you least expect it and almost knocks you down taking the wind right out of you. siiiigh it breaks my heart & makes me feel uneasy. but now it’s time to make choices that i really don’t even want to have to think about making. right now it’s going to be a conscious effort to keep moving and keep getting through all the shit but hopefully it gets better and it’ll become something beautiful and natural like it once was. the challenge is getting back up and being able to go with the change when it hurts so much…but why do i still wish for what was?? well boo freakin hoo to me!!! GTFO and get over it!!!

*nerd alert

What would Paul Farmer do?

assess the situation. assess what led to the failure. what situations resulted in the consequence? and fix the problem by creating manageable solutions. the goal is to prevent the outcome from being as devastating as the precedent. it’s not hard. just do it!!! but first i gotta find my solution ;)
